Time Change Information

Congress has advanced the date on which daylight savings begins by three weeks to the second Sunday of March (March 11, 2007) and delayed the change back to Standard time by one week to the first Sunday in November (November 4, 2007). If you are a Renalog RM user, a Microsoft Windows XP patch must be installed on the Renalog RM computer to correct the daylight savings change dates. If the patch is not installed the time on the Renalog RM computer will be off by one hour for the three-week time period before the spring and one week before the fall time changes.

Note: This patch will not work for Renalog 3 computers.

Microsoft provided a patch, labeled TZEDIT.EXE, to correct the daylight savings time changes, the Minntech instructions describing the necessary modifications are included on this page.

To download this file, right click on the link below and select "Save Target As" from the popup menu.

Download TZEDIT.EXE

Once downloaded, copy the file to a disk or memory stick and open the disk or memory stick on the Renalog RM computer. Read the instructions below before opening the TZEDIT.EXE file.

If your computer network will not allow you to download EXE files, your Renalog RM computer does not have Windows XP, or you have any questions please contact Minntech Renal Systems Technical Services Group at 800-328-3324.
