Minncare® Cold Sterilant is a peracetic acid solution originally developed for use on reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and their associated distribution systems. Over 5 years ago, the application of Minncare® Cold Sterilant was expanded to use in a dry fog for use in cleanroom spaces.
Minncare® Cold Sterilant is a powerful oxidant that stops organism growth by oxidizing microbial cell proteins and enzyme systems. Minncare® Cold Sterilant is effective against a wide range of organisms, including Staphylococcus aureus, influenza A, and endospores such as Bacillus subtilis.
Besides being among the most efficacious disinfectants, Minncare® Cold Sterilant is environmentally friendly. Unlike chlorine and aldehyde disinfectants, Minncare® Cold Sterilant impact on the environment is minimal because it quickly breaks down after use. Minncare® Cold Sterilant is biodegradable and will decompose into oxygen, water and acetic acid.
