Renalin100 Cold Sterilant is a stabilized mixture of hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and acetic acid. It has been validated as a cold sterilant for reprocessing hollow-fiber dialyzers, and is the leading reprocessing sterilant worldwide. After reacting with organic material, Renalin100 Cold Sterilant decomposes into acetic acid, water and oxygen. It is effective against Hepatitis and HIV (associated with AIDS) viruses when used as a sterilant and kills non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) rapidly and completely.

Efficient and cost-effective
Renalin100 Cold Sterilant is designed to be automatically diluted by the Renatron II 100 Series Dialyzer Reprocessing System and the Renatron PA 100 Series Dialyzer Reprocessing System. This means no labor and resources are spent for pre-dilution and the exposure to the sterilant is minimized. Due to the convenient new packaging, storage space can be reduced by 80%. Reduced shipping charges and less frequent ordering save money and time.

Easy-to-use Renalin® test strips included
The Perassay® 500 Peracetic Acid Test Strips were specifically developed to confirm a sufficient concentration of Renalin100 Cold Sterilant for sterilization. Renalin Residual Test Strips can detect even extremely low concentrations of residual sterilant in the dialyzer, helping to ensure adequate rinsing of the dialyzer prior to patient use.

Automated Dialyzer Reprocessing
Consistent high quality in dialyzer reprocessing requires automation. To meet this need Minntech introduced the Renatron II 100 Series Dialyzer Reprocessing System and the Renatron PA 100 Series Dialyzer Reprocessing System. These automated systems utilize Renalin100 Cold Sterilant to reduce the time and labor involved in dialyer reprocessing and help to maximize safety of this process.
